The Sky-Tec NL series Flyweight Starters are supplied on 12V Piper aircraft with Lycoming engines. They are FAA PMA eligible on Lycoming 235, 290, 320, 340, 360, 540 and 720. These starters are kickback protected and have ultra high torque, yet only weigh 9.4 pounds. They spin fast 160 RPM, yet only draw 135A on 12V.The Sky-Tec 122-NL Starter alternates with Delco Remy 1113471, Prestolite ERZ-8012, SRZ-9022, SRZ-9032, Lamar PM1203 and Lycoming 72279, 31B21211 and 31A22361 starters.
