Henkel Loctite 290 Series anaerobic cure threadlocker adhesive is suitable for locking and sealing of M6 threaded fasteners. This adhesive has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg at 27 degrees C, specific gravity of 1.07 at 26.7 degrees C, VOC contents of 2.27%, 22.1 grams per liter and a boiling temperature rating greater than 149 degrees C. It has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C TCC for safe use. The mild odored, liquid adhesive is green in color and comes in a 250-milliliter bottle. It has a tensile strength of 90 psi and shear strength of 780 psi. The dimethacrylate ester-based adhesive requires 24 hours for curing at 25 degrees C, 20 minutes for drying and 20 minutes for setting.
