D-5261NS is a special formulation of oil conforming to MIL-L-7870 and propellant, creating a very effective cleaner and penetrating lubricant. Penetrates tight parts (ie: heart strands of cables) and deposits a rust preventive lubricating film. D-5261NS provides excellent resistance to oxidation, protection against rusting, and limits galvanic corrosion. Used on aircraft flight controls, engine, and landing gear cables, pulleys, pressure seals, cargo hoist cables, cargo restraining system components, door interlock actuating mechanisms, slide mechanisms, hinges, and static joints.
