D-2046 is a methylene chloride free, non ozone depleting chlorinated solvent with a carbon dioxide propellant. It is designed to be a general purpose cleaner with several advantages over flammable solvents like acetone, toluene, etc. D-2046 is excellent for dissolving silicone, grease, oils, waxes, inks and tars. It can be used as a cold cleaner on metal parts, tooling, valves, gauges, motors and engines. Please refer to the material safety data sheet for further information on this product. D-2046 works exceptionally well on gears, bearing locations and any other application where you need to clean a greasy surface. Do not apply directly to plastic parts.
