LUBRICANT: GREASE,10OZ, D5933NS

Zip-Chem D-5933NS contains a multipurpose airframe grease. It is made with a synthetic base oil and a Lithium Complex thickener, which provides enhanced corrosion resistance and load-carrying capacity. It has a useful temperature range of -100 F (-73 C) to +250 F (+121 C). The grease is Aeroshell 33 and is qualified under MIL-PRF-23827C Ty 1 and D-5933NS is on the QPL for Boeing specification BMS 3-33B Type 2. D-5933NS should not be used to replace lubrication achieved by grease gun application through zerk fittings. In combination with the snorkel, it not only saves valuable time and labor, but also reduces the expense of wasting lubricant, with an added plus of always applying a clean uncontaminated grease where needed. In use, the non-toxic, non-flammable propellants vaporize leaving only the lubricant. D-5933NS can be used where drawings or maintenance manuals allow the use of hand or brush application of bulk grease. D-5933NS can be used as a replacement for molybdenum disulfide, in problem areas like the tailing edge flaps. Other applications are: general airframe lubricant, highly loaded gears, actuator screw mechanisms, instrument and all sliding and wiping surfaces with moisture entrapment problems.
