Sur Prep 5673 Contact Cleaner is a completely non-ozone depleting formulation (no CFCs or HCFCs). This multi-functional azeotrope is ideal for use on electronic components and energized circuits. Sur Prep 5673 is very effective in solubilizing a wide range of soils and surface contaminants, is non-flammable. Sur Prep 5673 is ideal for use as a defluxer. Sur Prep 5673 can be sprayed directly into problem areas to loosen, lift and flush away heavy deposits of undesirable oils, greases and rosin solder flux residues. The propellant system and active ingredients are non-flammable and highly efficient, guaranteeing complete evacuation of the contents with steady and reliable pressure (even when inverted). For applications involving sensitive plastic or rubber components we recommend D-5665NS or SurPrep 608. Meets the requirements of Boeing D6-17487 for solvent cleaners and ASTM D-877.
