Sur Prep 5672 Contact Cleaner is a completely non-ozone depleting formulation (no CFCs or HCFCs). This multi-functional azeotrope is ideal for use on electronic components and energized circuits. Sur Prep 5672 is very effective in solubilizing a wide range of soils and surface contaminants, is non-flammable and environmentally friendly. Sur Prep 5672 exhibits extremely low solubility of moisture which lends it to applications such as displacement drying and cleaning of water sensitive components. It's high density coupled with low viscosity and low surface tension results in good cleaning efficiency and penetration into complex geometries. Sur Prep 5672 is the prime choice as a replacement for HCFC-141b avionic applications. It has been SNAP approved without restrictions. Sur Prep 5672 can be sprayed directly into problem areas to loosen, lift and flush away heavy deposits of undesirable oils and greases. The propellant system and active ingredients are non-flammable and highly efficient, guaranteeing complete evacuation of the contents with steady and reliable pressure (even when inverted). For applications involving sensitive plastic or rubber components we recommend D-5665NS or SurPrep 608.
