3M Scotch-Weld DP3501 Series structural epoxy adhesive is a two-part room temperature curable epoxy that forms rigid bond on curing. This adhesive consists of base and accelerator, which is mixed in 1:1 ratio for better results. It has a boiling point greater than or equal to 250 degrees F for part-A and greater than or equal to 295 degrees F for part-B. The product has a flash point greater than or equal to 200 degrees F for part-A and greater than or equal to 250 degrees F for part-B. It has a viscosity greater than or equal to 50,000 centipoises for part-B and a storage temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F. The adhesive should be applied on surface within 20 minutes from mixing to ensure better positioning and adjustment prior to setting. It has a peeling strength of 4 piw and a shear strength of 2400 psi. This product comes in a 1-pint kit and requires a curing time of 48 hours. The liquid adhesive formula has a strong mercaptan odored part-A in black and an epoxy odored part-B in white.Features:Non-sag adhesive formula stays in a place after applyingSpecific gravity of 1.4 for part-A and 1.5 for part-BOffers excellent heat and chemical resistanceBenefits:Ideal for use in aircraft and automobile manufacturing industriesApplicable on ceramic, glass and metals surfacesApplications:Metal to metal bondingMasonry bonding
