The Sky-Tec NL/ec series Flyweight Starter are supplied on 24V Cessna aircraft with Lycoming engines. They are FAA PMA eligible on Lycoming 320, 360, 390, 540 and 580 engines. These starters are kickback protected and have ultra high torque, yet only weigh 9.4 pounds. They spin fast 160 RPM, yet only draw 115A on 24v. The Sky-Tec 149-NL/ec Starter is a 24-V in-line design used on many Lycoming engines. The motor provides extended cranking capability and kick-back protection. It's fast cranking speed helps optimize ignition timing for quick starts. This is a light weight design and requires no maintanance. Alternates with Prestolite ERB-8011, MHB-4016, MHB-4019, Lamar PM2401, PM2404 and Lycoming 31B22207, 31B26554 and 31B22553 starters.
